Abandoned Canterbury

Abandoned Canterbury is a landscape photography project that explores the presence of forgotten or abandoned objects and structures left in the Canterbury region. Across rural farmland, coastlines, back roads, and urban zones, remnants of past activity remain left behind in the landscape, often unnoticed, deteriorating, or slowly wasting away and being reclaimed by nature. These objects are physical remains of human settlement, of past intention, reminding us of the past as nature moved on around them.
